Fixture Housing - Ballast housing is spun from .080" aluminum. Internal ballast support bracket also functions as mounting reinforcement plate with a minimum thickness of .125". Optical housing is spun from .080" aluminum, hemmed at the edges and internally finished in high-gloss white paint for maximum reflectance.
Fixture Housing (models with Uplight) - Ballast housing is cast from low copper (A356, < 0.2%) aluminum alloy, minimum .125" wall thickness. Windows in the lower portion of the ballast housing allow for decorative illumination (horizontal optics only) .Optical housing is spun from .080" aluminum, hemmed at the edges. Lens frame is a one-piece .060" aluminum spinning surrounding a 3/16" tempered glass lens sealed with a continuous silicone gasket and attaches to the housing with the AccuhingeTM hinging mechanism. A captive stainless steel thumbscrew allows for tool less entry to the optical compartment which is sealed with a closed cell E.P.D.M. gasket.
Mounting - When pendant mounted, the fixture housing is connected to the mounting arm by the Trulevel swivel which is internally welded to the housing and allows for fixture leveling prior to locking the swivel. When side arm mounted, the housing is externally welded to the mounting arm and the weld is blended to produce a smooth, continuous joint.
HID Electrical Module - All electrical components are UL recognized. High power factor ballasts are rigidly mounted inside the Fixture Body and are factory prewired with a quick-disconnect plug for mating to the socket. HPS core and coil ballast, reactor - high power factor with starting temperatures of -40°F. MH electronic HID ballasts are high power factor, low frequency, -20°F starting. Fluorescent ballasts are electronic, high power factor, 0°F starting. HID socket is 4KV pulse rated medium base. Optional G-12 base socket is available for 70PSMH T6 lamp mode. Fluorescent socket is universal for 26W, 32W, or 42W PL lamps.
PLED Optical Modules – Emitters (LED’s) are arrayed on a metal core PCB panel with each emitter located on a copper thermal transfer pad and enclosed by an LED refractor. In asymmetric distributions, a micro-reflector inside the refractor re-directs the house side emitter output towards the street side and functions as a house side shielding element. Refractors are injection molded H12 acrylic. Each LED refractor is sealed to the PCB over an emitter and all refractors are retained by an aluminum frame. Any one Panel, or group of Panels in a luminaire, have the same optical pattern. LED refractors produce standard site/area distributions – Type II, Type III, Type IV, Type V-Sq,Type II Front Row, Type V Narrow and Type II Median Illuminator. Panels are field replaceable and field rotatable in 90° increments.
LED Power Array Driver - UL and CUL recognized Constant Current LED drivers operate on input voltages from 120 – 277VAC,
50/60hz and are mounted to an aluminum bracket
secured to the barrier plate. Terminal blocks facilitate wiring between the driver and optical arrays, and between driver and incoming supply. Driver is independently sealed and UL Listed for wet location.

VLED Driver – Driver is UL and cUL recognized mounted on a
single plate and factory prewired with quick-disconnect
plugs. Constant current driver is electronic and has a
power factor of >.90 and a minimum operating
temperature of -40°F. Drivers accept an input of
120-277V, 50/60Hz. Consult factory for dimming applications.
Finish - Electrostatically applied TGIC Polyester Powder
Coat on substrate prepared with 20 PSI power wash at
140°F. Four step sand blast and iron phosphate
pretreatment for protection and paint adhesion. 400°F
bake for maximum hardness and durability. Texture finish is standard.
